The ISO 9001:2015 certificate for management system at Allstars Engineering was renewed for another three years in January 2019. This time the auditing process behind the certificate renewal emphasized project management and planning.

ISO 9001:2015 is a quality management system that defines the international standards used in organisations for developing their products, services and operations. By following these standards customer needs are better acknowledged and business performance may become more efficient.

Various rating agencies and certification bodies evaluate the compliance to these shared methods of operation. DNV GL has evaluated the quality system of Allstars Engineering Ltd (Oy) from the beginning, since year 2014.

The main objective of an evaluation is to find out whether a company’s management system conforms to the standards and how efficiently it helps the organisation meet the requirements laid down by laws, regulations and agreements, and reach the goals it has set itself.

Approved without departures

Evaluation enclosed no departures from the standard and observations were positive: the company’s business has developed favourably, customer satisfaction is on a high level and partnerships have been invested in. Additionally, all sales goals and actions are based on company strategy.

Projects have clear guidance and follow-up procedures. Resource allocation is closely planned and monitored, as well as realisation and degree of readiness of designing.

Our management system was described effective and as a result, we were granted the certificate for fulfilling the renewed requirements. The certificate covers design and consulting services for shipbuilding, offshore and industry, as well as for machinery and equipment.
